DIY – Homemade Bloom Booster Recipe

Here’s a simple and effective homemade bloom booster recipe using natural ingredients — perfect for flowers, veggies, and container plants during the summer!

Organic & Safe – Made from What You May Already Have

What You’ll Need:

How to Make It:

  • Fill a bucket or watering can with 1 gallon of water.
  • Add:
    • 1 cup worm castings
    • 1 tbsp molasses
    • Optional: 1–2 tbsp wood ash and/or 1 tbsp crushed eggshells
  • Stir well and let sit 8–24 hours, stirring occasionally.
    • You can bubble it with an aquarium pump for extra microbial activity, but it’s not required.
  • Strain if needed (for spraying or small nozzles).

How to Use:

  • Soil Drench: Pour at the base of blooming plants every 2–3 weeks.
  • Foliar Spray: Use a fine mist sprayer in early morning or evening (strain first!).
  • Use it fresh — within 1–2 days — and do not store long-term.
